The racetrack named after the Italian racing rider was built in the 1970s and has been modernised several times. Most recently, the track was extended from 2019 to 2023 to its current length of 5,260m and homologated by the FMI in 2024. This makes it the second-longest racetrack in Italy (after Monza) and therefore the longest track for motorbikes, even longer than Misano and Mugello. .

• There are two long straights that allow high speeds, but also technically demanding corners that require precision.
• The impressive infrastructure has been equipped with modern pits, a spacious pit lane and spectator areas.
• The close location near Cervesina (Pavia), just 8 kilometres from the A7 motorway (Milan/Genoa) and the A21 motorway (Turin/Piacenza), offers a short and quick journey from Switzerland, Germany and France
