GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

Registration
The registration/booking is only valid in writing with signature (e-mail/post), via an online booking on our website www.rehmracedays.com or partners verified in writing. The registration/booking is only valid after full payment and confirmation from us. The entry deadline is always when the maximum number of participants per event has been reached.
Boxes / Pit Garages
All pits and spaces in collective pits have the status “reserved” until the final allocation has been confirmed on site by the respective racetrack. We ask for your understanding in the event of any short-term capacity reductions.
Payment
The invoice amount must be transferred in full to our accounts in Germany immediately after it is booked, or it must be settled using another payment option provided.
Cancellation
Registrations/bookings are always binding. In the event of cancellation up to 56 days before the event, € 100.00 of the participation fee will be retained. Cancellation at a later date is not possible unless a substitute participant is named. If no substitute participant is named, the entry fee will be charged as a cancellation fee. Cancellations can only be accepted in writing. If an event is cancelled for reasons for which the organiser is not responsible (coincidence, force majeure including adverse weather conditions or fault of third parties), the entry fee shall be forfeited. In other cases of cancellation on the part of the racetracks, adequate alternative dates will be made available within one year with preferential booking rights in accordance with the contractual conditions.
Liability
Participation in the events organised by Rehm race days GmbH, hereinafter referred to as RRD, is at the participant’s own risk. As the organiser, RRD accepts no liability for the execution of the event or for any damage caused by the event – regardless of the legal grounds. The limitations of liability do not apply to bodily injury, damage to health or loss of life caused by RRD through gross negligence, wilful intent or otherwise attributable to RRD. The same shall also apply to the legal representatives of RRD or its vicarious agents. Furthermore, the limitations of liability shall not apply to other damage caused by a grossly negligent breach of duty by RRD or by a wilful or grossly negligent breach of duty by a legal representative or vicarious agent of RRD. Furthermore, the limitation of liability does not apply to liability based on the Product Liability Act. Each participant (=TN) is solely and exclusively liable for any damage caused by him/her to other participants or third parties. Reference is made to the statutory exclusion of risk for racing events. The participant is also liable for damage to persons and property caused by third parties using the vehicle during events. Each participant is liable for material damage to his/her vehicle, even if a third party is responsible for this. RRD is not obliged to take out liability insurance.
Behaviours
Participants (including ring newcomers) may only use the racetrack and take part in the events after recognising the General Terms and Conditions and the exclusion of liability by signing the General Terms and Conditions of RRD and, if applicable, those of the contractual partners included. If minors wish to take part in the events, this requires a written request (e-mail/post) and confirmation by RRD; a legal guardian or authorised signatory must agree to participation and sign the General Terms and Conditions, and the liability exclusions and limitations of liability contained therein. The rules of behaviour during the events are communicated in the briefing in the presence with compulsory participation, participation is checked at the entrance to the racetrack. If a point of the GTC is not fulfilled, exclusion from the event will follow in conjunction with immediate departure from the event venue/camp, without any entitlement to a refund of the participation fee. The RRD has the freedom of decision here; in addition to the respective house rules at the event venue, the legal representatives and vicarious agents of the RRD and the racetrack operator must be obeyed.
Entering the racetrack
When entering the race track, you must never cross it. You must signal to the riders on the track with hand signals until you reach the first curve, indicating that you are entering the traffic from the pit lane at an appropriate speed. Even in the first curve, you must stay on the side from which you came from the pit lane exit. RIGHT stays RIGHT and LEFT stays LEFT! Participants who cross the track directly after exiting the pit lane before the first corner will be immediately and without warning excluded from the event to protect the safety of the other participants! There will be no exceptions made here!
Flag signals
Flag signals on the racetrack must be observed. Riders who do not observe the flag signals and endanger others as a result will be excluded from the event!
Exclusion of participants
Any participant who violates the rules of conduct and participation through their behaviour or endangers other participants/third parties or leaves their vehicle to persons who are not registered will be excluded from the event with immediate effect. The participation fee paid will not be refunded, nor will the remaining or unused event days. In the event that the exclusion is based on the fact that the participant allows third parties to participate in the events without authorisation or enables third parties to do so, an additional participation fee must be paid to the RRD. The RRD is free to decide whether to exclude these participants from participation either temporarily or permanently.
Vehicles
Motorbikes will be subject to random checks at the entrance to the racetrack. Motorbikes that do not comply with the following safety regulations and those of the respective venue will be rejected. If the vehicle is not repaired, overhauled or adapted, this will result in exclusion from the event with all the restrictions set out in the ‘exclusion of participants’ section. The motorbikes must be in perfect technical condition. Brakes must be in working order, petrol lines, oil plugs and oil filters must be secured against unscrewing and loosening. Only water is permitted as coolant (no antifreeze or similar). Headlights and mirrors must be removed or masked. Each driver is responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is in perfect condition; in addition, the respective regulations of the venue apply. Vehicles with electronic drives require a written request and authorisation (e-mail/post) from the RRD at least 6 weeks before the start of the event. The vehicles must comply with the volume limit applicable at the venue.
Rider / Participant
Full protective clothing is mandatory. Full-face helmet, protector suit, boots with ankle protection, back protector, gloves etc. are part of the rider’s equipment. The rider must be in good physical condition; alcohol, drug and medication abuse will result in immediate exclusion from the event. The participant is familiar with and agrees to the rules of racetrack use (flag signals, hand signals before entering the pit lane, etc.). On the first and second day of the event and as required (note the timetable), two driver briefings are scheduled in the morning. It is compulsory to attend one of these briefings in order to learn or refresh the rules and regulations, and to be informed about special conditions and circumstances at the respective venue. Each participant must take out sufficient insurance cover for the following: liability damage to own vehicle, accident, medical expenses, disability, loss of earnings costs in the event of an accident, transfer costs for participant and vehicle. Each participant must be in possession of valid health insurance for the events. Additional foreign health insurance is required for events abroad. The participant confirms this by submitting and signing the entry form. The RRD reserves the right to charge the participant for any costs incurred for medical care outside the racetrack (transport to hospital, etc.). First aid at the racetrack is included in the entry fee.
Racetrack Newcomers
For newcomers to the circuit and people who have never taken part in RRD event before, a separate briefing is also mandatory before using the circuit. Driving on the racetrack is only possible in specially designated time blocks. In addition, newcomers to the circuit must make themselves clearly recognisable and stand out from the other participants by wearing a yellow overshirt (provided against a deposit).
Use of photos/videos/EDP-supported data
All photos, videos and audio recordings made during the event by authorised photographers, or the monitoring systems of the facilities may be used and published by RRD, the authorised photographer and the racetracks on the websites, in social media channels and for general advertising purposes. Recordings from security surveillance cameras, as well as data of any kind collected, may be stored and processed with the aid of IT systems and, if necessary, used by RRD, the respective racetrack operator and/or contractual partner to investigate criminal behaviour, accidents, damage and/or other comparable incidents.
Place of jurisdiction
The GTC are translated and made available in several languages. In the event of disputes regarding the interpretation of the GTC, the wording in German shall prevail. The parties agree that German law shall apply. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Ulm Donau (Germany).
